Hope Summers tells Don Knotts Luther tries to convince everybody Of course nobody believes Luther when he reports a murder...and the victim shows up alive Even his editor Dick Sargent isn't on his side! Luther lives at a boarding house with some old ladies and his rival Ollie, unfortunately... How could Luther resist her? Even if she IS Ollie's girlfriend... Luther decides to write the story of the Simmons House, encouraged by his friend played by Liam Redmond. Luther's boardinghouse friends bid him a tearful goodbye as he departs for the house. Maybe he's not so chicken after all, approaching a haunted house near midnight... Luther falls down a coal shute into the scary basement! A good Don Knotts scared face! At least he's got a flashlight! He sees a portrait with a pair of embedded shears -- yikes! Knotts, looking almost dashing, discovers the source of the music... It's the mysterious organ with the blood-stained keys they couldn't clean -- and they used Bon Ami! The organ is playing by itself! Yikes again! Ollie and his editor help Luther write up his incredible haunted house tale! Luther finally gets his own byline! The ladies from the local psychic society swoon over Luther and the Simmons House! His article lands Luther in court defending his story of the Simmons murder house. Mr. Chicken's going to have his way...tonight! He leads his supporters to the house where the jury will visit. After everyone leaves when he's unable to prove anything, he hears the organ music again! He peeks into the organ loft... He finds out who's behind the mysterious organ music... Luther reacts to yet another shock! The scariest part of all -- Luther gets married!
