I never cared much for WHITE CHRISTMAS, based around a single song, when HOLIDAY INN, the source of that song, is still around to see. (Though I can’t say I’m especially fond of the latter either. Oh, well.)

I first saw one on a Saturday afternoon when I was 12 and I loved it! The humor and obvious camaraderie of Crosby and Hope are delightful. As a side comment, the govenor of Illinois is a real piece of work when compared to the governor of Alaska! Makes me think TCM should do a night of movies about corrupt politicos who get their comeuppances.
