I'm glad I left New England ten years ago for beautiful (almost) snowless Arizona!

I never cared much for WHITE CHRISTMAS, based around a single song, when HOLIDAY INN, the source of that song, is still around to see. (Though I can't say I'm especially fond of the latter either. Oh, well.)

I second an indepth look at the "Road" movies. I first saw one on a Saturday afternoon when I was 12 and I loved it! The humor and obvious camaraderie of Crosby and Hope are delightful. As a side comment, the govenor of Illinois is a real piece of work when compared to the governor of Alaska! Makes me think TCM should do a night of movies about corrupt politicos who get their comeuppances.

I love the "Road" movies! "Utopia" is probably my favorite (with "Morocco" being a very close 2nd). Would love to read an in depth article on their brilliance.
