I attended West Jr. High in Akron, Ohio back in the 50's and knew Jordan (then as Zankoff). We called him "Duckie" as he wore his hair long then for the times and combed back in a D.A. Was a good friend. Sad to hear he passed.

I was the oldest of Jordan's 10 nieces and nephews from Akron, OH. His sister, Paulexania is my mother. From a very small age I remember visits from my uncle. I was in awe of him! He was so handsome! I remember the stories he would tell me of New York, the Arthur, partying with the Beatles, etc. It was a magical time i may have been young but the stories he told and the memories I have are a lifetime. We miss him dearly!! We still play his albums when we all get together. Just want to say hello to my cousins, Phil, Sara, Doris, Diane and Pauline!! It's good to know that everyone is doing well. My uncle died of a heart attack while living in New York City. His remains were cremated.

Wow, the last Post regarding Jordan is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing that information on this site. I too have several of Jordan's albums. Funny, one day I found "Jordan has the Knack" album at a Radio Shack store in Massillon, Ohio. It was in a small bin holding just a few records. Thanks again for remembering my cousin, and please, I hope more people add to this post.
