Czechoslovakia produced a surprising number of SF films from the fifties through the seventies, of which Ikarie XB-1 and the films of Karel Zeman are the most famous, although there were many witty comedies such as this one being made. Let&#039;s hope Criterion or some other company gives them a proper Region 1 treatment!</description>
