		<description>McGraw is a good example of the dependable second string actor. his face
was too rugged to be a lead, although he did play a few. i preferred him
as a villain and he played quite a few. i believe he was a stock player
for RKO for years. in profile he would have been a good dick tracy as
the actor that played him (byrd) did not look at all like the comic
strip tracy. i believe his&#160; career covered about 30 years and i
never saw him do a bad job,&#160; considering the thousands of films and
actors over the years that is a nice compliment!
