The beast in me“I have supped full on horrors.” William Shakespeare, Macbeth
I’m too health conscious these days to actually eat Count Chocula or Frankenberry but I’ll get around to my Kellogg’s Monsters Artificially and Naturally Flavored Fruit Snacks this Halloween season. And anything I can’t stomach I’ll just give away to the children who ring my doorbell on October 31st. Hey, Trick or Treat cuts both ways, kids.

I think those cereals now have like zero sugar content, thanks to the nanny state, so eat till your heart's content. I'd forgotten about Freakies, which if I recall had a real fruity Trix-like taste. Thanks for the memories! Lucky Charms cereal. Now that was a yucky one..the way the multicolored marshmellow bits dissolved in the milk turning it into a bluish purple swamp. Not to mention the soggy sugar frosted oats. A real teeth rotting treat. I'm surprised that cereal hasn't inspired a feature film. After all, Pirates of the Carribean was based on a theme park ride.
